Julie Chambers is excited to announce that she is running for Hamilton Southeastern Schools Board of Trustees – District 4! She looks forward to having the opportunity to represent her district and is excited to work with the entire HSE community to continue to improve our schools.
HSE is an excellent school district, but there are always ways to improve. First and foremost, Julie believes that the school board should really listen to the community and seriously consider their input. However, lately it seems that the current board has not done a great job of listening to parents and teachers. If elected, Julie will listen to the feedback she receives from parents, teachers, administrators, and residents to make the best decisions that she can to improve our district and to make sure that each and every student receives the best education possible in a safe and secure environment.
Julie believes that excellent public schools are an integral part of our community and essential to raising intelligent, engaged citizens who are ready to enter the workforce or continue on in higher education. Our schools are exceptional, but they will only continue to get better if we have leaders that will really listen.
Julie Chambers has been a resident of Fishers for three years. She and her family moved to the HSE school district because of the excellent schools and the desire to be a part of the wonderful Fishers community. Julie is an attorney and owns Chambers Law Office, LLC and her husband, Sean, works for Defense Finance and Accounting Services in Lawrence. They have two daughters, Emily (6) and Morgan (4). Emily attends Fall Creek Elementary. Julie also volunteers as the Troop Leader for Emily’s Girl Scout Daisy Troop.
Please visit Julie’s bio and issues page for more information on Julie and her position on select issues facing our schools. We welcome feedback and look forward to meeting more community members during the campaign!
